Life habit: Lichenicolous fungus (parasite on living lichens)

Type: U.S.A. Arizona: Coconino Co., Grand Canyon National Park, north slope along Grand View Trail below Grand View c. 2000 m, 36^o03'30"N, 112^o13'W, rocky slope with scattered trees of Pinus edulis, on cliffs of siliceous sandstone, 10 July 1994, J. Hafellner 36909 (holotype in GZU)

Host: On the thallus of Dimelaena oreina.
