- Type locality: Microbial biofilm growing on the bark of a Cupressus sempervirens near Portoroz, Slovenia.
- Holotype: Strain CAUP C-H8401, permanently cryopreserved in the CAUP [1]; active culture, CAUP H8401, from which the holotype was derived; permanent slide (CAUP P-H8401).
