• Type locality: near Chakpi village on the Chakpi River (24°16' N, 93°52' E). Holotype: J. Rout and M. Thajamandhi; December 23, 2013; growing profusely on stones at 755 m above sea level; water temperature 14°C. MEL 2381649. Isotypes: MICH 1210723; UC/JEPS. GenBank accession number: KP407869.
