• Typus: J.W.R. Koch 565, pro parte [only the upper specimen; the lower one is of I. kochii Bremek. = I. timorensis Decne.] (holotypus: L 0535787^(JSTOR) [collected on 14 May 1904]; isotypus: L 0000548^(JSTOR) [without field number, collected in 1904]).
• Type locality: [Indonesia.] New Guinea, S. part: Merauke.
