  • Type locality: [Algeria] “dans une des mares des forêts qui environnent le lac Houbéira, au canton de la Calle”.
  • Lectotype (designated by Troia & Greuter 2014: 15): “La Calle, fond d’une Mare dans les Forêts pres du Lac Houbéira”, 31 May 1841, Durieu ex herb. Bory St Vincent (P 466542); isolectotype: P 466541 p.p., detached leaves to the right.
