Isoetes karstenii A.Braun, Verh. Bot. Vereins Prov. Brandenburg 3–4: 332 (1862).

• Typus: ‘‘Venezuela. Im Gebirge von Mérida 8000’ hoch in einem See ganz unter Wasser 1857.’’ Karsten s.n. (Holotypus: B).
