  • Type locality: Marfells Beach, Kaikoura, Marlborough, South Island, New Zealand (41º42'48"S, 174º13'12"E). Holotype: cystocarpic: W. Nelson & R. D'Archino; 5 November 2010; WELT A030891. Isotypes: WELT A030892 (male), A030893 (tetrasporic).
