- Type locality: Arch Rock, where the Huon River estuary opens into D’Entrecasteaux Channel, Tasmania, Australia, 43.2938°S, 147.1352°E. Holotype: G.W. Saunders; November 28, 2002; subtidal, 10 m on rock. UNB GWS001503. BOLD ABMMC1573-07.
