  • Typus: Jacquin (Holotypus: apparently not preserved fide Applequist 2013: 56).
  • Type locality: Martinica in pratensibus ad ostium fluminis dicti Capot[Martinique. Mouth of the river Capot]; specified in Select. Stirp. Amer. Hist.: 170, t. 183, f. 72 (1763).
