Himantoglossum hircinum subsp. affine var. pseudocaprinum J.J.Wood, Kew Bull. 38: 75 (1983).

Typus: Iraq. Middle forest zone, Rowanduz District: Kan-i Watman, near waterfall, NE of Chinaran, 800 m, shady place under tree in organic soil, very rare, 2 April 1978, Al-Khayat & Younis 52744 (holotype: BAG).
