• Type: from Sarge Bay, Cape Leeuwin, Western Australia, on Platythalia angustifolia, drift (Woelkerling, 16.xi.1968; AD, A34205-"Marine Algae of southern Australia" No. 387). Holotype: GB, Isotypes distributed from AD.
