• Type locality: Wheatsheaf Islet, Balls Pyramid, 23 km SSE of Lord Howe Island, Australia.
• Holotype: G.T. Kraft, G.W. Saunders & R. Withell; 1 February 2004; pendant on the basalt of the E vertical wall, 18-26 m depth; MELU; LHI-12100a.
