      • Type locality: I. Taboga, Panama. Abundant as dredged from a bottom of sand and coralline algae at 3.5-9.0 metres’ depth. (dredged at sta. 960, between I. Taboga and I. Urava).
      • Holotype: (cystocarpic and tetrasporic): W.R. Taylor #39-625; 1939-05-02 Hancock Foundation.
