• Typus: A.F.G. Kerr 1579B (in flower and fruit, [12 November 1911]; Holotypus: K [​K000872109^(JSTOR)]; Isotypus: BM [​BM000838980^{(GBIF, JSTOR)}]).
• Type locality: Thailand. [Chiang Mai:] Doi Sutep, 1500 m., among grass in open forest.
