- Neotype: LINN, presumably by Stackhouse; (selected by Silva 1955: 571) 'On the Devonshire and Cornwall Coasts: on the Long Rock between Marazion and Pensance1 plentiful. Hon. Mr. Wenman' (specimen not located).
