English: This is a scan of a herbarium specimen of Zostera capricorni (Zosteraceae), a marine flowering plant native to Lord Howe Island. Collection info is as follows: "Game 69/226. On the sandy floor of the lagoon at North Bay, probably about 18 inches below spring low tide, Lord Howe Island, August 26th 1969. Much Zostera exposed at low tide at North Bay. Tolerant of shallower water than Halophia ovalis". A duplicate is at Kew and is cited in the Flora of Australia Vol. 49 p.407. The species also occurs on the coasts of Australia and New Zealand.
