Summary
DescriptionSyzygium tierneyanum (6886228763).jpg
I often see this tree on the streets of Gold Coast or Sunshine Coast (East Australia).
This Myrtaceae has larger leaves than any of Syzygium I know - 10cm or more.
it has single trunk, relatively large flower hidden among branches (inside the canopy) - like cauliflorous really.
It always flowers in summer. I do not remember seeing a fruit of it.
The identification is tentative - see comments.
