Summer farewell on a windy, overcast day in the Florida scrub at Jonathan Dickinson State Park. I love the name but am not sorry to see Summer go away down here!
This is another plant popular with insects. The species name "pinnata" refers to the shape of the leaves and it is placed in the Fabaceae family because it's fabulous ;-)
