These 3mm blossoms of the invasive rough Mexican clover have just a hint of pink. This "weed" and it's cousins are often pioneer plants on disturbed, sandy, nutrient-poor ground where most plants won't grow. Honey bees & other insects like them. Originally from South America, it has become naturalized in the South and was named for English naturalist Richard Richardson.
