Here is Peelbark St. John's-wort, one of our local 5-petal Hypericum. The name refers to the peeling, cracked texture of the bark. It is a very common plant in moist pine flatwoods, pond margins and depression marshes. This one lives at Sweetbay Natural Area in Palm Beach County.
