Summary

Description

Flowerheads are a hairy primary axis of racemes;

the lower branches are to 3-5 cm long, becoming shorter above. Spikelets occur in 2 rows on the branches and are 2-flowered, with the lower glume having an awn over twice the length of the spikelet.
