Summary
DescriptionOlearia mooneyi herbarium specimen.jpg
English: This is a herbarium specimen of the Lord Howe Island endemic tree Olearia mooneyi (Asteraceae) past flowering but with inflorescences. It was a permitted collection by myself (John Game) back in 1969, together with other Lord Howe plants. Many of these specimens are deposited in herbaria but a few such as this one are remaining to be accessioned. Scanned by JCG in Berkeley, 2014. Collected on the summit plateau of Mt. Gower, number 69/238, August 1969. Lord Howe Island is in the Tasman sea east of Australia.
