English: Prickly-leaved Paperbark (Melaleuca nodosa) is a native shrub 1-4m tall. It tends to prefer drier habitats than M. styphelioides.
It's a minor source of nectar and pollen for birds and insects and provides useful habitat for small birds. It doesn't provide extractable quantities of honey for beekeepers.
It can be recognized in the Common by:
- Shrub 1-4m tall with papery bark
- Leaves linear and sharp-tipped, mostly 10–40mm long x 1–3 mm wide.
