Sidalcea oregana ssp. valida—Kenwood Marsh checkerbloom. Included in the CNPS Inventory of Rare and Endangered Plants on list 1B.1 (rare, threatened, or endangered in CA and elsewhere). It is also listed by the State of California and the Federal Government as Endangered . Only two occurences exist in Sonoma County, One at Kenwood Marsh and the other in Knight's Valley.
