Summary
DescriptionCyanea superba.jpg
English: Cyanea superba "Cyanea superba, is one of 88 endangered species the U.S. Army Garrison Hawaii’s Natural Resource Program is responsible for managing. This species went extinct in the wild in the early 2000’s, however, due to seed collection efforts, 270 individual plants have been reintroduced into their natural habitat. In 2009, staff found seedlings that had been produced naturally by these outplanted individuals, validating the management techniques used by the program"
