Summary

Description Cladonia rappii A. Evans, 1952 (photograph of a herbarium specimen) Growing in dryish, acid, sandy soil under Pinus virginiana on Route 313, about 2 miles S of Sharptown, Wicomico County, Maryland, USA; collected and identified by Elmer G. Worthley (No. L-73, 20 Jun 1984); specimen is now in the Lichen Herbarium of the New York Botanical Garden.
