  • Typus: Greece, Crete, nom. Chanion, ep. Sfakion: Imbros ravine NE of Chora Sfakion, lower and middle parts, 200–400 m. Lat. 35.13, long. 24.10. Spherical shrub, in crevices of limestone rocks. Strid & al. 26697 (Holotypus: C; isotypi: ATH, B, C, E, G, LD, UPA).
