  - Type locality: Angola. Mossamedes: on the inner slopes of the Sierra de Montes Negros.
- Euphorbia fragiliramulosa L.C.Leach, Bol. Soc. Brot., sér. 2, 44: 201 (–205; fig. 4, t. 6) (1970); synonymized with E. negromontana by Leach (1974)
  - Type: E.J. Mendes 1374 (in flower, 24 January 1956; Holotype: LISC [LISC011550^{(GBIF, JSTOR)}]; Isotypes: BM [BM000911295^{(GBIF, JSTOR)}], LUA).
  - Type locality: Angola. Moçâmedes Distr.: «16 km de Moçâmedes para Dois Irmãos».
