Type locality: [Indonesia.] ~~Netherlands~~ New Guinea [= Papua Barat]: Western part of Central Mountain Region[Paniai Regency], Lake Paniái (one of the Wissel[Paniai] Lakes), Enárotali, in presumably secondary open shrubby vegetation on a low limestone hill behind the Station, close to the Lake and the surrounding plains, about 1800 m alt.
