Erythrotrichia platyphylla Stegenga, Engledow, Bolton & Anderson, 2001

• Holotype locality: Morgan Bay, Eastern Cape Province, Republic of South Africa (32o 43’ S, 28o 20’ E). Holotype: Stegenga, Bolton & Anderson; 24 October 1999; growing on Anthophycus longifolius (Turner) Kützing, in the sublittoral fringe. BOL Slide EC 947. Isotype: BOL Slide EC 948.
