Name

Endococcus propinquus (Körber) D.Hawksw., 1979

Life habit: Lichenicolous fungus (parasite on living lichens)

Basionym: Microthelia propinqua Körber, 1855

Hosts: Endococcus propinquus s. l. is known from a wide range of hosts; E. propinquus s. str. is confined to Porpidia species.
