Born in Sekondi, Ghana. Educated in Ghana Secondary Technical School, Sekondi College. Attended University of Ghana, Legon, Ghana. Obtained BSc Zoology with Botany and MPhil Entomology. Was a Teaching and Research Scientist for 2 years at the Department of Zoology, University of Ghana, Ghana. Worked as a Research Scientist at INSTI- CSIR for 3 years. Obtained PhD Zoology at the University of Bergen, Norway.
