Notes

edit
  • Cereus lamprochlorus Lem., may belong here. The original plant of Lemaire is poorly understood and no material is preserved. The name has been much confused and is better discarded. Plants in cultivation under this name is often similar or identical to Soehrensia candicans.
    • Cereus lamprochlorus Lem., Cact. Aliq. Nov. 30. 1838.
    • Echinocereus lamprochlorus (Lem.) Engelm. ex J.N.Haage, Preis-Verz. Cact. 22. 1859.
    • Echinopsis lamprochlora (Lem.) F.A.C.Weber, Dict. Hort. 471. 1896, comb. inval.
    • Echinopsis lamprochlora (Lem.) F.A.C.Weber ex H.Friedrich & Glaetzle, Bradleya 1: 96. 1983.
    • Trichocereus lamprochlorus (Lem.) Britton & Rose, Cactaceae (Britton & Rose) 2: 132. 1920.
  • The name Trichocereus × mendocinus Méndez (in Hickenia 3(21): 73. 2000) represent hybrids between Soehrensia candicans and Soehrensia strigosa.
  • Gardens plants under the invald names Trichocereus brevispinulosus and Trichcereus harrisima might belong here.
