• Type locality: Costa Rica: Cartago: Orosi, Parque Nacional Tapantí, sendero Oropendula, along the Río Grande de Orosi, 1160 m, epiphytic on branchlet in shad.
• Holotype: Franco Pupulin - 2584. (USJ)
• Holotype: F. Pupulin & R. Chacón 2584; 19 Nov 2000; Costa Rica: Cartago: Paraíso, Orosi, Parque Nacional Tapantí, sendero Oropéndola, along the Río Grande do Orosi, 1160 m. (USJ)
