• Type locality: Höhnel Valley, Mt Kenya, Kenya
• Holotype: Gregory s.n. (Flowers and inflorescence only; BM)
  • The leaf on the sheet is that of Lobelia deckenii subsp. keniensis (R.E.Fr. & T.C.E.Fr.) Mabb.
