Name

Cynometra dwyeri Rados., PhytoKeys 127: 21 (2019), under the epithet dwyerii

• Type: W.L. Stern 941 (in fruit, 5 July 1959; holotype: US; isotype: MO-721168).
• Type locality: PANAMA. Darién [now Comarca Emberá-Wounaan] (vicinity of Campamento Buena Vista, Río Chucunaque above confluence with Río Tuquesa, 08°23'N, 77°47'W).

Notes

Originally published under the specific epithet dwyerii, this, however, should be amended per the ICN (ed. 2017, Art. 60.8 (a)): "If the personal name ends with a vowel or ‑er, substantival epithets are formed by adding the genitive inflection appropriate to the gender and number of the person(s) honoured (...)".
