• Typus: L.J. Brass 1428 (in flower and immature fruit; holotypus: A 00065159^(JSTOR); isotypus: K fide Knaap-van Meeuwen 1970: 35 et Radosavljevic 2019 [cf. K000780122^(JSTOR), without any type indication apart from determination slip left by M.S. Knaap in January 1970]).
• Type locality: British New Guinea[Papua New Guinea]. Central Division: U-uma River.
