• Type locality: Mexico: Guerrero: Cerro Tlacatepec, near the sawmill village of agua Fria, Mun. de Tlacotepec, ca. 40 km N of Coyuca de Benítez, oak-pine forest, 2650 m.
• Typus: leg. Feddema 2898; 1963-12-04; Holotype: MICH; Isotypes: ENCB, MO.
