  • In addition to the type locality, M. Stapf in Fernandez et al. (2021) recognizes occurrences of this species also in Bahia (BRAZIL NORTHEAST; mun. Caetité & Nova Viçosa), Espírito Santo (BRAZIL SOUTHEAST; mun. Itaguaçu & Itarana) and Santa Catarina (BRAZIL SOUTH; mun. Corupá).
