Typus: T.B. Moore s.n. (syntypus: MEL-MEL54908, [in 1891]) and L. Rodway s.n. (syntypi: MEL(-MEL654170 in 1892, -MEL54909 [in 3 April 1893])); see Thompson (2010: 35).
Type locality: [Australia. Tasmania:]
- Moore: near Mount Tyndall.
- Rodway in 1892: Snake Plains, Mount Wellington.
- Rodway in 1893: Cutting Grass Swamp, Mount Arthur, near New Norfolk.
