(GH-GH00092549, US-US00129907-42342 (var. α?); syntype: P-P00698903, mirror; possible syntype: P-P00698905 (mirror; between α and γ); possible type: NY(-NY00131122).
  • Note: var. γ was later re-identified as Coprosma montana Hillebr. when it was first described.
• Type locality: [United States of America.] Sandwich[Hawaiian] Islands: Hawaii.
