Typus: E.K. Cameron 9741 (male, in flowers, 18 July 1999; Holotypus: AK [AK239596^{(GBIF, JSTOR)}]).
Type locality: New Zealand. [North Island:] Epsom, Withiel-Thomas Res., in rock forest.
