Coprosma hookeri Stapf, Trans. Linn. Soc. London, Bot. 4(2): 187 (1894); accepted by Govaerts (1999, 2003), but not accepted by Beaman & Anderson (2004) [cited as Coprosma crassicaulis]

• Typus: G.D. Haviland 1072 (SAR; isotypi: BM000796365^(JSTOR), SING0058048^(JSTOR); cf. K000772070^(JSTOR), without any type indication).
• Type locality: [Malaysia. North Borneo, Sabah:] in crevices near the top of Mt. Kinabalu, alt. 13,000 feet.
