- Type locality: Burma [Myanmar]: several localities;
- Type: H. Skuja; on shell of freshwater gastropod (Paludina). (apparently lost). Lectotype: pl. XXXVII: figs 1-7 in Skuja 1949 (designated by Boedeker et al. 2012: 822).
- Epitype: material from a pond in tropical hothouse, Hortus Botanicus Leiden, The Netherlands, leg. C. Boedeker (sample G91), 26 April 2006, attached on mangrove pneumatophores (submerged), L 079287. (designated by Boedeker et al. 2012: 822).
