• Type locality: Curacao, Netherlands Antilles. South coast, Boca Santa Marta.
• Holotype: Van den Hoek; sample 68/49; 19.v.1968; attached to fragments of dead coral at a depth of about 10 m; associated species: gnawed plantlets of Amphiroa fragilissima, Jania capillacea, J. adhaerens, Sphacelaria furcigera, S. tribuloides, gelidiopsis planicaulis; L; sample 69/49.
