• Lectotypus: A. Chevalier 22459 (in flower, 25–30 November 1909; P-P00368264; isolectotypi: K(-K000241755, -K000241756, -K000241757), P(-P00368265, -P00368266)); determined by L. Barnett in 1986.
  • Type locality: Côte d'Ivoire. Morénou: environs du poste de Bangouanou[near the station of Bangouanou].
• Syntypus: A. Chevalier 22442 (in fruit, [23–]24 November 1909; K(-K000241758, -K000241759, -K000241760), MO-2217179, P(-P00368267, -P00368268, -P00368269)).
  • Type locality: Côte d'Ivoire. Morénou: entre Sahoua et Bangouanou[between Sahoua and Bangouanou].
