  • Type locality: Slovakia: Vysoké Tatry [High Tatra Mountains].
  • Type: Strain UTEX 1343 permanently preserved in a metabolically inactive state (cryopreservation in liquid nitrogen) in UTEX (epitype) (Pröschold & al. 2001: 290).
