  - Lectotype (designated by P.G.Wilson 1983, Nuytsia 4(2): 164): Upper left-hand specimen on sheet bearing labels 1) "Ad ripam fluvii Murray", Feb. 1847, and 2) "Avoca", 2 Dec. 1852, both leg. F. Mueller. Lectotype: MEL MEL-80673.
