Note: The name Suaeda pannonica has been misapplied for Suaeda prostrata (and the name Suaeda maritima has been misinterpreted for Suaeda pannonica), by Austrian and Hungarian botanists for decades, since the 1930s up to 1996 (see Fischer & Kästner, 2011). The correct names are used since:
