• Type species: Champereia perrottetiana Baill., Adansonia 3: 125 (1862) an unplaced name probable synonym of Scleropyrum pentandrum (Dennst.) Mabb., Taxon 26(5-6): 533. (1977) so type species is non designatus unless Champereia manillana (Blume) Merr., Philipp. J. Sci., C 7: 233. (1912) is accepted in spite of priority.
